Elite inline hockey athletic development serves as the result of the CEIHF efforts to provide Colorado's youth with the ultimate in player development and community support programs to promote scholastic youth and elite inline hockey in Colorado.

Our affiliation and support from Colorado businesses and the American Inline Hockey League, USA Roller Sports (NGB for roller sports in America), and the AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) are the vital key to our success in promoting and developing the best athletes and "Learn To Play" seed programs in the United States.

Junior Talons Inline Hockey Athletic Development
The CEIHF junior program is designed to recruit and develop the future for Talons Hockey while ensuring the longevity of elite and competitive Colorado inline hockey

Through appropriate teaching models we can enhance a young player's existing athletic skills to improve the important hockey fundamentals, and mechanics critical to athletic and team success.

FUN FOR ALL
The Colorado Elite Inline Hockey Federation (CEIHF) wants to introduce its “Buddy Up with Hockey” a fun fitness program for Denver Metro youth. Our celebrity inline hockey athletes are joined with younger children from elementary and middle schools from around our inner city communities to introduce kids to the benefits of skating for fitness.

FOR BETTER HEALTH
The CEIHF Major League players will visit schools to provide 30-minute demonstrations of exercise on skates. These specifically designed fitness exercises are similar to what the players do within their own fitness and conditioning routines, but adapted and designed for grade school and middle school kids.

FITNESS AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
Elementary and middle school children will especially enjoy the one-to-one attention they receive from their older Buddy Up partner.

They make comments such as, "He makes me feel special; he says nice things to me!" and “We do lots of fun things together. He’s my friend."

Teachers report that participation in buddy programs enhances children’s cooperative learning behaviors such as taking turns, listening, sharing knowledge, praising another’s effort, helping one another, and completing a task. Due to the extra attention and assistance, the younger children’s work often improves.

Hockey And What It Can Be.

Rocky Mountain Talons Unite To Serve Their Community

The Colorado Elite Inline Hockey Federation and the Rocky Mountain Talons celebrate their successful contribution toward enhancing lives while reaching another milestone towards its community service initiatives.

Eighty kids of the Colorado UpLift organization were the beneficiaries of one the most exciting Diversity and Learn To Play Hockey events organized by the Colorado Elite Inline Hockey Federation's Hockey Without Boundaries program.

With the help of the Colorado Avalanche and the CEIHF dozens of inner-city kids left that day with a wealth of new experiences and plenty FUN.

Happiness through hockey was the goal and with long lasting life lessons as a result.

Learning the Fundamentals

On Tuesday, January 26, 2010 the CEIHF and its amateur elite Rocky Mountain Talons inline hockey team program partnered with Colorado UpLift youth programs to host a learn to play hockey festival through its Hockey without Boundaries initiative to teach inner-city at-risk children the benefits of health and fitness through inline hockey participation.

The CEIHF's Hockey without Boundaries program is only one of the organizations progressive efforts to increase physical fitness awareness with inline hockey throughout Denver 's inner-city communities and public schools. While working toward diversifying the sport of hockey by increasing participation for kids across all economic and social boundaries, the program hopes to do its part to tackle America 's crisis of childhood obesity with 45-60 minutes of on-rink hockey drills and skills lessons.

“Our Hockey without Boundaries program has been in the planning stages for some time now, and we are excited to partner with Denver's inner city programs to encourage young prospective athletes the benefits of health and fitness through the sport of inline hockey.” says Eddie Delgado, President of the Colorado Elite Inline Hockey Federation, and Founder of the successful Colorado High School Inline Hockey League.
